Photos of Baby Khari

Regina holding her daughter for the first time!
First picture before she was rushed to the PICU.

Kharington (sounds like Carrie) is doing really well. She has a soft cleft palette in the back of her mouth which can be fixed when she's a bit older. Her genetic test results will not be back for another week yet. She will soon have surgery on her tongue to keep it down and not block her air way (due to the cleft). Regina is staying at the Ronald McDonald house and holding up really well. They are surrounded by parents with children in much worse situations so it keeps everything in perspective. We are so thankful that she is so healthy and breathing well on her own. Thank you for your prayers for their family. Pray that she will be able to suck on a bottle after this surgery is complete.
