Christmas 2008

Once again we hung up our Jesus stocking to collect money during the month of December for Jesus' birthday. It always amazes me how much we can accumulate! We decided to give Jesus' gift to the 2 orphanges our new friends, the Dunagan family, help run in Uganda. Check out a post about their recent needs here. The Strang family came over Christmas Eve to sled, have dinner and worship with us!
Can you tell Ben loves to bake cookies? "Happy Birthday Dear Jesus!"
My parents came down for a visit and some sledding.

All 25 of us (minus me, the photographer) at Tricia's house for 3 days of Christmas fun. We stayed at Tricia & David's new home they built and Grandma fed us well!
Hogen & Jaime Lyn admiring their youngest cousin, Kharington.
Some of the violin players in the family playing for us.
Grandma sewed outfits for all the little cousins.

Great memories!

Thanks for the Jesus stocking idea! Our family has decided to adopt that tradition as well - we were able get some baby chicks, bunnies, gospel tracts and blankets through the Gospel for Asia catalog! That is WAY better than a bunch of plastic toys that normally fill their stockings and are broken before the day is out! :)

Ahh, it's been so long since I've heard Seth and Christian play violin. Sounds like you guys had a wonderful Christmas!

God BLESS you and your family! Your heart for Jesus, and for others around the world is such an inspiration. My prayer is that He will provide abundantly for all that is in His heart for your family in 2009! "Where He guides, He provides!"
